Overview

This is my first XNA project. I created it rather quickly (just a couple of hours) using Microsoft’s XNA Framework and C#. The whole game is all 2D and there’s really no fancy bells and whistles yet with regard to particle systems or a realistic physics system. I may go back and revamp it later on, but I wanted to at least show how quick I can pick something up and make something of a new skill.

Objective

If you’ve ever played air hockey before, you know how it works. There’s a computer controlled paddle and a player controlled paddle. The computer paddle moves just a bit slower than the player paddle to give the player a slight advantage. Left and right arrow keys move the player paddle and the ESC key will exit the game. Simple enough? I think so.

Download

Air Hockey 2D Setup (*.msi) (919.0 KiB, 43 hits)

Note: This requires the .NET Framework 2.0 or higher, the setup process should install it if it isn’t detected, but I haven’t tested that.
